Mass Greeters Needed
We need greeters to welcome our parishioners and visitors to St. Cecilia! Please choose a mass time that works for you and your family and simply welcome everyone who enters the church. There is no need to sign in with anyone.  Simply report to your designated area.


OCIA Group: "Come and See Meeting "
Prayerful Congratulations to our OCIA group that has now become reborn in Baptism, Confirmed in the Holy Spirit, and nourished by the Eucharist. If you are interested in becoming Catholic or would like to take the journey with a person preparing to become Catholic, join us for a "Come and See Meeting " on August 5th and August 19^th, 6:30 pm in Room 201 of the Community Center. JOIN ST. CECILIA’S FUNERAL TEAM 
There are many details to consider when planning a Funeral Mass and Reception. We have some dedicated individuals who have been assisting in scheduling and planning Funerals. We are seeking at least four individuals who wish to assist the Funeral Team. This would include reaching out to family members to help with finalizing a date, planning with the loved ones, and hosting the funerals. This is mostly a weekday, daytime ministry. This is a ministry of compassion that allows the families here at St. Cecilia to feel cared for at this very difficult time. We are looking for compassionate people who feel comfortable with computers and emails to make sure communication is covered. OCIC COORDINATORS NEEDED 
Starting this Fall, St. Cecilia’s Church needs TWO OCIC Coordinators (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults adapted for Children) to work together with parents and guide their children, from age 7 to 5th grade, unbaptized or baptized in another faith, to become fully initiated members of the Catholic Church (Baptism or Profession of Faith, Confirmation, and First Eucharist). KIDS CLUB -CHILDREN'S FAITH FORMATION- VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
KIDs Club, children’s faith formation, needs volunteers to join our team as Catechist Teachers, Catechist Teacher Aides, and Substitute Teachers during the 2025-2026 school year. Classes are two or three Sundays each month, starting September 7th thru April, from 8:30 am to 9:45 am. No experience necessary. We will provide all the materials  needed.  Must be CMG (Safe Environment) trained and approved before volunteering. 

If you are interested, we have opportunities available for:
1 Pre-Kinder (age 4) Teacher;
2 ea. Kindergarten Teachers and Teacher Aides; 
2 ea. First grade Teachers and Teacher Aides;  
2 ea. Third grade Teachers and Teacher Aides;
2 ea. Fourth grade Teachers and Teacher Aides; 
2 ea. Fifth Grade Teachers and Teacher Aides; Substitute Teachers.

A Loyola Press representative will be here to talk about the new textbooks and different ways to teach the material to the children. Do not miss it!  In service is on Saturday, August 16, from 10 am to 2 pm in the Community Center. We will provide lunch.
