Altar Server

Altar Servers (boys and girls) assist the priest and deacon by carrying the processional cross, candles, books, incense, and anything else that may be needed during the liturgy.  They also help to set a good example for the assembly by their active participation in the prayers of the mass.  Boys and girls must be 10 years of age or older to participate in this ministry.  Primary training is typically held in the summer months, and parents and servers must commit to attending regular refresher classes, and serving when scheduled.

• Candidates for this ministry must be at least 10 years old at the time of the training and have celebrated their First Holy Communion.
• At least one parent must attend the first 15 minutes of the training.
• Training will begin promptly at the appointed time. You must arrive on time to participate in the training.
