Baptism is the beautiful start of your child's spiritual life and we are honored to be a part of your faith journey. Formation for the Sacrament of Baptism for infants and young children is for the parents and godparents that will be guiding the child into a full participatory faith. Our process at St. Cecilia has 4 steps: 1.) Baptism Request , 2.) Online Course, 3.) Baptism Welcoming Session (in person) , and 4.) Document submission & date selection. Due to large numbers of young children in our parish, we have 2 communal Baptism ceremonies per month. We do not host private baptisms.
If you are interested in preparing for and having your child baptized at St. Cecilia Catholic Church (Houston), please ensure your eligibility for Sacraments at our parish. We serve the sacramental and spiritual needs of families who live within our parish boundaries and/or are registered parishioners.
